This notice describes the privacy practices of BioBM Consulting, Inc. (“BioBM,” “we,” or “us”) for our marketing website at biobm.com and associated staging or preview domains (together, the “Site”). It is a practical summary of how we handle data on this marketing site — not legal advice.

Who we are
BioBM is a life-science marketing consultancy. This Site promotes our services, shares insights, and lets visitors contact us or request gated materials. We do not offer user accounts or payment processing on this Site.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Contact form. Name, company, email, optional phone number, and message. We email your inquiry to BioBM via our email provider (Resend) and send you a confirmation email.
- Gated downloads (papers/reports PDFs and certain resource files). Name, company, and email. We email the requested file(s) to you as an attachment and send BioBM a lead notification. Gated files are not offered as direct browser downloads.
- Beyond Content access. Name, company, and email. We email you a personal, time-limited access link and notify BioBM. Opening the link unlocks the webinar/transcript in your browser via a secure cookie.
- Newsletter signup. Email address only, via an explicit subscribe form. We send the address to Mailchimp with double opt-in (you must confirm by email before joining the list). Contact-form and gated-download submissions are not added to the newsletter unless you separately subscribe.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics. When allowed by regional defaults or your consent choices, Google Tag Manager (
GTM-5JJD8Q4H) may load Google Analytics 4 and related measurement tags. These tools can collect usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device/browser information, and referral data. - Error monitoring. We may use Sentry (when configured) to capture technical errors and performance data to keep the Site reliable. That may include limited request or environment metadata; we do not intentionally send form message content to Sentry as a product feature.
- Bot protection. Forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile provides a verification token and typical anti-abuse metadata; it is not used by us as a source of marketing profile data.
- Server and hosting logs. Our hosting and CDN providers (for example Vercel and Cloudflare) may process standard technical logs (IP address, timestamps, request paths) as part of operating and securing the Site.
How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and deliver requested materials
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site
- Measure aggregated traffic and marketing performance (when analytics are allowed)
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the Site to run a consumer credit, employment, or tenant-screening service.
How we share information
We share information with service providers who help us run the Site, under instructions consistent with this notice, including:
- Resend — transactional email (contact confirmations, gated file delivery, internal lead notices)
- Google — Tag Manager / Analytics when analytics or advertising storage is permitted
- Sentry — optional error monitoring
- Cloudflare — security / Turnstile and edge delivery where applicable
- Vercel — hosting and related infrastructure
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect BioBM or others, or in connection with a corporate transaction (merger, acquisition, or asset transfer), subject to applicable law.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage as follows. You can change or clear stored preferences by clearing site data for this domain in your browser.
Necessary
We store your cookie consent choice in browser localStorage under the key biobm_cookie_consent so we can remember Accept / Reject and avoid repeatedly prompting you. This preference storage is needed to respect your choice.
Analytics and advertising
Google Tag Manager may set or read analytics and advertising cookies (including GA4) only when regional defaults allow them or when you Accept on our consent banner. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland we default those purposes to denied and show a banner until you choose. Elsewhere we default to granted under Google Consent Mode v2 Advanced, consistent with how the Site is configured.
Security
Cloudflare Turnstile may set or use cookies / similar storage as part of bot checks on forms. These support Site security, not marketing profiling by BioBM.
International visitors
BioBM is based in the United States. If you visit from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your home country. Where we show a consent banner (EEA/UK/CH), analytics and advertising storage remain off until you Accept.
Retention
Contact and gated-download submissions are retained as long as needed for business correspondence, lead follow-up, and legitimate record-keeping, then deleted or archived according to our internal practices. Analytics and error data follow the retention settings of those providers. Consent preferences remain in your browser until you clear them.
Your choices and requests
- Use the cookie banner (where shown) to Accept or Reject analytics / advertising cookies, or clear site data to reset that choice.
- Email info@biobm.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information you have submitted through the Site, or to ask a privacy-related question. We may need to verify your request.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law (for example certain U.S. state privacy laws or GDPR/UK GDPR). Contact us to exercise those rights.
Children
The Site is directed to business professionals in the life sciences and related industries. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact info@biobm.com.
Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy & Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update means you should review the revised notice.
